The makeup of a young person is such that they haven't matured enough to lug on the consequences of their actions.
Of course, some fully grown quicker than others. But to many teenagers, the want for peer approval outweighs any health risks. They estimate they're immortal, anyway.

No, I really don't. Unfortunately, my generation is too worried near the here and now vs the long residence. Then again, I think most folks are that way when they're young-looking.
