Do I involve a tetnus shot?

My 9-month-old just bit my vanished upper forearm. It hurts a lot and appears somewhat welted. Should I get hold of a tetnus shot or any type of medical treatment for this?Do I involve a tetnus shot?
I doubt you need a tetanus booster but save in mind that a human bite is more dicey than any other animal bite. Of course it hurts and of course there's swelling. Clean it terrifically well beside soap and water and apply an antibiotic salve (if you have one handy) or hydrogen peroxide (today only). Thereafter, soap & dampen twice a day. Apply an antibiotic balm after cleansing. Monitor for signs of infection over the next 4-5 days. You'll live but your 9-yr-old might requirement a muzzle.
I don't think you would stipulation any treatment. If it broke the skin, just save it really clean and covered until it starts to alleviate. Chances are your kid doesn't have tetnus, so you wouldn't stipulation a shot. You'll probably be fine in a few days, sore, but ok.
If he didn't break the skin you should be fine. If he broke the skin cleanse it near mild soap and water and apply antibiotic balm and a bandaid. You do not need a tetnus shot but if you haven't have one in the later 5-7 years you should get yours updated the subsequent time you are at the docs office.
if u grain that this is necessary. its not resembling u got bit by a raging dog...geez..
Doesn't sound similar to the skin is broken. Put a cold pack on it to keep swelling down. This will give support to with pain also. It may bruise also. Depends on how hard the little bugger bit ya.
Everyone desires a tetanus shot every 10 years. Getting cut on something dirty or rusty would require a tetanus shot. If your kid had tetanus they would be awfully sick.
No need for a wrapping unless it's bleeding. Cold pack. A frozen package of peas works polite if you don't have anything else to use.
